How Laser Hair Removal Works:

Our Clarity II laser uses two specialized wavelengths for safe, effective treatment across a wide range of skin tones: Alexandrite (755nm) for light to olive skin and Nd:YAG (1064nm) for deeper complexions. The laser targets the pigment (melanin) in the hair, heating and damaging the follicle to slow future growth. Because the treatment relies on pigment, it isn’t effective on very light blonde, white, or gray hair—but for most patients, it offers a long-lasting solution for smoother skin.

The Hair Growth Cycle

Hair grows in cycles with 3 distinct phases. The hair must be in the active growth phase for the laser to to effectively destroy the root of the hair. Because not all hairs are in the growth phase at the same time, multiple treatments (usually 4–6 sessions) are needed to effectively treat all follicles. After your initial series, occasional maintenance treatments can help maintain smooth, lasting results.

The Treatment Process

Your laser hair removal journey at Soul Aesthetics starts with a personalized consultation, where we’ll evaluate your goals, examine the areas you want treated, and confirm that your hair is dark enough for effective results. If you’re a candidate, we will schedule a series of up to six treatments, the ideal number for achieving long-lasting hair reduction. Sessions are scheduled within a 12-month period, and we’ll guide you with clear pre- and post-care instructions to make the process smooth and seamless!
