NEUROTOXINS
BOTOX, XEOMIN,
AND DYSPORT
Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport, also known as neuromodulators, are the most popular treatments in medical aesthetics. Neuromodulators are injected to relax the muscles of the face that cause wrinkles during facial expression. In addition to smoothing out wrinkles, neurotoxins can treat a variety of muscle pains and cosmetic concerns. Depending on the area being treated, the number of units needed varies from patient to patient. At a consultation, our providers are able to asses the desired areas of treatment and recommend the dosing and brand for your unique needs.

Downtime & Results
Patients can typically return to work immediately after receiving neurotoxin injections such as Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin. However, it’s advised to wait 4-6 hours before lying down and 24 hours before engaging in strenuous exercise to optimize results. Temporary bruising, swelling, and soreness may occur for one to two weeks post-treatment.
Results usually become visible within 3-14 days after injections. We recommend waiting the full 14 days for the results to fully set in. After 14 days, additional units can be added if needed. Neurotoxin results typically last 3-4 months, and maintenance treatments every 3 months are recommended for optimal results.
