NEUROTOXINS

BOTOX, XEOMIN,
AND DYSPORT

Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport, also known as neuromodulators, is the most popular treatment in medical aesthetics. Neuromodulators are injected to relax the muscles of the face that cause wrinkles during facial expression. In addition to smoothing out wrinkles, neurotoxins can treat a variety of muscle pains and cosmetic concerns. Depending on the area being treated, the number of units needed varies from patient to patient. At a consultation, our providers are able to asses the desired areas of treatment and recommend the dosing and brand for your unique needs.

Downtime & Results

Patients can return to work immediately after Botox injections. Post-care instructions will be provided at your appointment; however, it is recommended that you wait 4-6 hours to lie down and 24 hours before exercising. Results typically become visible 3-14 days after injections, and we will schedule a follow-up appointment two weeks after your initial appointment. At this time, we will assess your results and add additional units if needed. Neurotoxin results typically last 3-4 months but can vary depending on the treatment and patient’s anatomy. We recommend scheduling treatment every 3 months for maintenance.
