Neuromodulators, such as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin are the most popular treatments in medical aesthetics. Downtime and Results

Patients can return to work immediately after Botox injections. Post care instructions will be explained in your appointment; however it is recommended you wait 4-6 hours to lie down and 24 hours before exercising. Results typically become visible 3-14 days after injections and we will schedule a follow up appointment two weeks after your initial appointment. At this time, we will assess your results and add more, if needed. Results last 3-4 months on average.

What is the difference between Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport?

Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport are BTX-As used to treat wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing the responsible muscles. Each brand differs in formulation, dosing, and spread. Because we are all unique, we recommend trying each to know which brand of toxin you prefer.

How soon will I see results after getting a neuromodulator treatment, and how long will they last?

Results from neuromodulators like Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport typically appear within 3 to 14 days and last around 3 to 4 months, though this can vary based on individual factors.

Can I return to work immediately after getting a neuromodulator treatment?

You can resume work right after treatment, but avoid lying down or intense exercise for 4 to 6 hours to prevent the toxin from migrating.

Are there any side effects to Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport?

Side effects are usually minor, like temporary bruising or swelling at the injection site. Rarely, toxin spread may cause temporary eyelid or eyebrow drooping.

Are there certain people who shouldn't use Botox, Xeomin, or Dysport?
